The Solution is Simple

We cannot continue to allow foreign business and industry to have favored status over American owned business and industry. 

To place restrictions and burdens on American owned companies   while we allow foreign competitors to do business here without those same restrictions and burdens, puts American owned companies at a disadvantage.

My goal would be to insure that we make the proper changes so American companies will have favored status over their foreign competitors.  By doing this, we will  bring those jobs, we forced out over the years, back to America.

We need to remove unnecessary burdens that Government places on Business and industry so as to reduce their overhead in dealing with the Government bureaucracy.   The cost of doing business in America is far greater than doing business elsewhere.  This must stop.

Most Americans understand that “Business and Industry” are the backbone of this nation’s prosperity.  Without their existence within the 7^th District, we cannot thrive.  All of our wages are derived from the fruits of  “Business and Industry’s endeavors” and this is true for government as well.

 Most do not ask for handouts or government payouts.  They are simply asking our elected leaders to act responsibly and use common sense when they draft legislation that affects our local economy. Instead it seems they are doing everything in their power to hold us back or in some cases drive us from the 7^th district all together.    

 We cannot continue to sit back and watch his destructive policies destroy the future of the Seventh District of Wisconsin.

This is not just a district issue, as we are well aware that his efforts also affect the nation as a whole.  We saw the Stock market slide while government continued to push us further into debt in ways we never dreamed could happen.   Dave Obey as the head of appropriations pushed through a stimulus bill and promoted and approved of a budget that will exceed the total annual income of those above his $250,000 threshold.  Foolish, insane, irresponsible, you bet!   If  “Business and Industry” did this, we would fold in a short while.

The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW) blasted House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey (D-Wisconsin) for presiding over a dysfunctional, chaotic federal budget circus.  "Chairman Obey's actions, and the actions of the entire Democratic leadership team in the House represent a stunning abdication of fiscal responsibility," said CCAGW President Tom Schatz. "A significant number of lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are allowing themselves to be steamrolled and, once again, demonstrating blatant hostility to the rights of taxpayers to know how their money is being spent. The deadline for approving appropriations bills is the same each year, September 30, and if the Democrats had done their job over the past nine months, this legislation could have been deliberately considered, reviewed, and publicized. Democrats took over Congress promising greater transparency; this is completely contrary to that claim."
